By accessing or using Drive X, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the application.

Drive X is an advanced Google Drive companion app designed to help users manage, organize, sync, and back up Google Drive content more efficiently.

• Automatic thumbnail support for compatible video files

Drive X uses Google Drive API and may request full Google Drive access in order to deliver complete file management, backup, and sync functionality.

By connecting your Google account, you authorize Drive X to perform the actions required for the features you choose to use. This permission is necessary because the app is designed to manage your Drive content directly.

You are responsible for connecting a Google account that you are legally authorized to use. You must ensure that your use of Drive X complies with Google account rules, your organization’s policies if applicable, and all relevant laws.

You may revoke Drive X access at any time from your Google Account permissions settings.

Drive X is intended for lawful personal, educational, or business use related to Google Drive file management and backup operations.

• Create, manage, move, and organize Google Drive files and folders
• Use auto backup and background sync features that you have intentionally enabled
• Generate file details or shareable links only for content you have permission to access or share
• Use thumbnail, metadata, and preview tools only for supported files and lawful purposes

You are responsible for all actions performed through your connected Google account while using Drive X.

• Review files before deleting, replacing, moving, or syncing them
• Confirm that backup destinations and sync settings are correct
• Protect your device, Google account, and authentication methods
• Use generated links carefully, especially for files containing private or sensitive data
• Understand that background sync may use network bandwidth, battery, and device resources

You must not use Drive X to violate any law, misuse Google services, or interfere with the rights or data of others.

• Do not access or manage files that you do not have permission to use
• Do not use Drive X to distribute malware, spam, illegal content, or abusive material
• Do not attempt to abuse the Google Drive API or circumvent usage limits, platform controls, or security protections
• Do not generate or share file links in a misleading, fraudulent, or harmful way

You retain ownership of your files and content. Drive X does not claim ownership over any data stored in your Google Drive.

Backup, thumbnail generation, previews, and sync-related functions operate on content that you authorize the app to access. You remain responsible for keeping your important files safe and for maintaining separate backups when necessary.

Certain features of Drive X depend on your device state, operating system rules, network access, Google account status, Google Drive API availability, and Google service behavior.

• Background auto sync may pause or fail if battery restrictions, network loss, or OS limits apply
• Automatic thumbnails may not be available for every video format or unsupported file type
• Auto backup actions may be delayed or interrupted by connectivity, storage, or permission issues
• Professional-style management features are provided on a best-effort basis and may evolve over time

Drive X uses Google Drive API and interacts with Google services to provide its functionality. Google may maintain separate terms, policies, quotas, or service limitations that also apply to your use.

Drive X is an independent application and is not Google Drive itself. Availability of Google APIs, previews, and linked services may affect app behavior.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Drive X if misuse, abuse, illegal activity, security risk, or harmful behavior is detected, or if required to comply with law or platform obligations.

You may stop using the app at any time and revoke its Google account access whenever you choose.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in app functionality, platform requirements, legal obligations, or service improvements. Continued use of Drive X after updates means you accept the revised terms.
